The Azure offering has matured into a flexible solution for a broad selection of solutions. New additions extend this feature set into the realm of medias services for online encoding and video workflows. A REST API provides access to upload, configure, batch process, and check the status of uploaded assets. We’ll go over the available features and how to leverage them in your video pipeline. Microsoft’s new Azure Mobile Services provides a fast and simple solution for client developers to set up a back end to persist data and consume services with very little effort. Developers can quickly provision and service role, add CRUD functionality, and authenticate with iOS, Android, and Windows 8 clients. We’ll discuss how to do all this with a demonstration an discussion of the offering.
